Today Lyon is only two hours away from Paris, Marseille, and Geneva by high-speed train (TGV). France’s second-largest city in terms of population, in many ways Lyon comes in first. Its high-quality cultural offerings, a prime selection of eateries ranging from little bouchons (bar/restaurants specific to Lyon) to Paul Bocuse’s establishments, and the presence of 100,000 students to “live it up” with at the memorable parties to which Lyon invites you. // Lessons in small groups
In classes of a maximum of 8 students (6 being the average), lessons are based mainly around oral expression. A social and cultural approach to the French language, complemented by grammar and written expression, forms the foundation of our teaching methods.
Our teachers are aware of the specific needs and desires of students over 50 years of age. Therefore, classes are adapted to allow students to approach learning the French language in an optimal manner, closely linked to the culture of the country. The history, literature, traditions and especially the lifestyle in Switzerland, are some of the themes addressed in our classes.

From our loyal network of host families, we have selected those that are compatible with the interests and wishes of the over 50s population. These families offer suitable accommodation facilities (single rooms), so that your stay is on the one hand comfortable, and on the other hand beneficial for learning the French language. It is also an opportunity to immerse yourself in the culture of French speaking Switzerland. |
